Same old song: Malay Unity, but pitching lari la.

I just came over from Shah's Takonly blog and what he wrote here is exactly what I feel. Let me tell you. Shah is an angel and an angel doesn't lose his cool for nothing. He has every right to lose his head like that because of the current state of affairs. I strong feel you should read his post for yourself. Whether you agree or disagree is another matter, this is after all a democratic country.

Now let me tell you about how I personally feel about what these Ameno people are up too. I saw on tv about how a certain division, Bandar Tun Razak, if I am not mistaken talked about the need for Malay Unity at this crucial moment. Crucial they say? Crucial for who? For the Malays or for UMNO?

I still remember many years ago about how UMNO did the same thing and persuaded the late Uz Fadhil Nor to sit with them to discuss. The good Uz stood to the point of Malay unity and never in his speech was any attack or insinuation made at UMNO. It was plain Malay Unity and then that evil man, sorry he deserves to be called that, Mahathir made his speech and he was hitting at PAS at every chance he had. That idiot was and still is not a gentleman at all. Malay unity in his eyes then was the perpetuation of UMNO's dirty struggle to enrich their cronies and kins.

Lets get back to the present time. UMNO is screaming Malay unity again. If they claimed that only 5 percent of Malays swung their votes from BN to the opposition so what is the big deal about calling for Malay unity. It should be MIC and MCA who should be shouting this battle cry, not UMNO.

Let me tell you why. It's not 5 percent, they know it and we know it. They know that after discounting the fraudulent use of phantom voters and postal votes, the actual figure is actually alarmingly high.

Does Malay unity mean that Malays must unite to vote for one party only? If it means that then which party is it? Must it be UMNO? Why not PAS? No, it doesn't mean that at all. The Malay unity that they are concerned about concerns Power, Money, more Power and more Money.

Do they really care about whether the Malays are united. They were not bothered about it when a significant number of Malays voted them in into power. They were not bothered when PAS only got some votes here and there and managed to rule only one state. They were not bothered when the youths of Kelantan started to venture out in search of job opportunities because they (UMNO led government) had denied Kelantan the opportunity to develop by systematically denying Kelantan all her dues. They were not bothered when they saw continuity in the flow of the Ringgit into their already bloated pockets and bank accounts.

Now they scream that the Malays are not united. They are scared shit of what will happen when the impossible becomes possible. The destruction of UMNO was once unthinkable to them but is now a distinct possibility. This scares the hell out of them not because they love UMNO as a political party for the Malays, but because UMNO guarantees them a free passage to rob, rape and plunder.

Boys and girls, just be good and accept what is coming. The Malays would still be united, there's no doubt about it, but you would be poorer, thats all. Save your voice, don't shout yourself course, just sit down and learn to live within your means. You would definitely not die of poverty, because the Malays from the other side of the divide would help you.

i left quite a nasty comment on shah's blog, echoing his sentiment. i think all these calling for malay unity is getting a little too over rated. its all fake. if they are sincere then they must get rid of all the bastards @MSM first. they are good at spinning which will never help whatever good causes to be brought forward.

oh, and this shows ameno are still harping on and playing the racial card. i mean, sudahlah...basi dahhhh...

kata tak nak....It sounds like a gang that terrorises us for 50 years...is seeking die hard members...to join them..and keep robbing us.
And the gang leader..is a a fanatic for one race....thus...focussing on that race only.
UMNO must have been inspired by Martin Luther King....but their brains are like monkies...wild and stupid...cannot differentiate freedom fighters...uniting one race... to free themselve.
One said..."small country ..with arrogant racialists"
UMNO is now...the laughing stock to the whole world.

Salam bro...

Visited Shah's after you mentioned he's really pissed off...ingatkan nak ajak dia come over to my blog for some light hearted moments...tapi rasanya dgn marah yang meluap-luap and meruap-ruap tu tak 'jalan' kot saya punya anecdotes...

I also disagreed. Byk hiiden agaenda over that isu...tajuk lain intipati lain. Saja nak provoke kita konon..ingat kita ni zaman 60 yang 'terpaksa' akur dgn depa apaka? Zaman dulu boleh lah gertak sini terkucir..laa ni giliran kita lak gertak depa...dah basi dah bak kata kerp tu mmg teapat sekali!

Salam
Your piece had made me visioned all.
I am uncertain what Unity the government is talking about, but Malays not being united? Off course we are, its just that we are not united with UMNO. We are decent people thus misuse of power, corruptions, fraud, daylight robbers, nepotism and cronism are not within our boundaries and that led us not being united with them, not Malay ok. Result of Malaysia's 12th. General Election was a shocking one for most Malaysians. The UMNO leaders have been too arrogant and overconfident of their win and God's willing, the oppos. managed to capture 4 states not to mention Kelantan. They reasons of why the people including those in the rural areas are so fed up with UMNO although they have been known as staunch supporters was already outlined. Infact there was a quote," Even if they put a Monkey to stand as an UMNO candidate in a rural area, the Monkey would have won". The rural people of today have taken politics maturely thus realising that they could not be taken for a ride anymore.
What matters now is to be able to live peacfully and if possible not to suffer the ever increasing effects of inflation anymore .

Che'gu:

1-Bersatu means- sokong UMNO sampai kojol.
2-Demokrasi means- undi UMNO sampai mampoih
Amanah kepala bapak dia.

Oh yes che'gu; I do remember about that Unity talk(and the Palestinian talk). I remember many PAS ppl doesn't like the idea of Ust Fadhil Noor going along coz they say that old man is a snake ready to spit his venom despite 'offering' an olive branch to you.

But Ust Fadhil went along coz if he refuses, DrM and UMNO will say: look!PAS doesn't give a hoot about Malay unity!

And true enough, DrM did spit his venom when the oppourtunity arises.

Che'gu, in this song the pitching tak lari. Its totally sumbang.

Sebenar ketuanan Melayu dah mula lingkop semasa era pemerintahan Tengku lagi, tak payah saya cerita kenapa,faham2 sajalah.

Saya pernah menghadiri berpuluh2 polimik, forum berkaitan ketuanan Melayu,berbagai-bagai tokoh termasuklah Malik Munip,Zainal Keling,Ismail Hussein dll,di KL,Ipoh dan USM Penang semuanya pandai berkokok berderai, resolusi dibuat,di hari akhir semuanya masuk dalam fail dan disimpan di arkib negara. Peserta balik kampung masing-masing & bila sampai rumah lupa habis pasal ketuanan Melayu.

cheers.
