The Chase

The fear of being caught was real as Sam weaved through the traffic in the hot afternoon amidst very heavy traffic. No he wasn't driving, he was running and sure enough behind him were three burly, leather-jacketed, dark-glassed, hoodlums huffing and puffing as they tried to keep pace with Sam.

Sam should consider himself lucky that his three assailants were rather burly which somewhat made them not as nippy as assailants should be.

He jumped across a monsoon drain and suddenly smiled when he saw the familiar blue roof of a police station. He turned to see that his assailants were a good 20 meters behind. "Good" he thought as he avoided an on coming motorbike. " A hundred meters more, I can do it, I can do it, I am faster than them."

He dashed into the station's compound and headed towards the first room he could see.
He looked behind and saw the assailants catching their breath just outside the gate. One was bending over with his hands on his hips equally out of breath.

"Sir, sir, what happened? Alright, alright sit down first over here. Don't worry you are safe".

Sam sat huffing. He couldn't speak for a good three minutes or so. In between deep breaths he was pointing out to the gate as if to tell the officer that there was someone dangerous out there.

Finally, though still not composed yet, Sam blurted, "Please, huh, huh, please, huh, I, As, Ei, huh, huh, I,As,Ei.

What sir, I don't understand you sir?

Please huh, put me under the ISA, huh, huh, my life's in danger.

Salam Cikgu,

I say! Like this one, once the Pakatan Rakyat comes into power, we should keep Madey, Palah and Najis in ISA too! Who knows, Anwar and the thousand who suffered under them might just skin them alive. And oh, we should also include the doraemon boss who and the yu botak bodoh too!

Priceless! You have a real flair for storytelling and script writing cikgu. You had me chuckling at a time when there is less to chuckle about. Many thanks for that.

Why Saiful went to see Najib ah?
He could ask for the ISA instead.
After all, his life was in danger when he made the police report & he was traumatized, right?

The ending chegu, the ending... What happen if the cop that he trust did something like this....pinned the person to the wall, clasp the mouth and with the right hand slowly thrust a knife to the belly. In slow motion turn the knife anti-clockwise.

Oopss...that was a script from a Hindi movie.

Cikgu,

Your script is full of hidden meanings. Can be made into a stage play.

yes Malaysia is freaking Great country where cops would detain you if your life is in danger.
DPM will entertain any sodomy complaints.
The IGP would listen to any victim's uncle's grouses.

Malaysia Boleh!!

Hahaha.. this reminds me of the sms-es I have been receiving ever since Saturday...

"If your life is in danger, please get 'arrested' under ISA. Coverage is limited to 16 hours only. Interested parties are advised to contact our Special Agent, Syed Albar for a detailed summary, terms and condition. Source : Insuran Skim Ajaib. Reporters get priority"

lynmay,
Hai, nice to have you here. Well it looks like they have to open a new wing in Sungai Buloh specifically for protection purposes. How preposterous. Who do they think they are kidding?

Pak Zawi said...

Cikgu,
He was under tremendous pressure when asked the question why the reporter was detained under ISA and his thinning brain just like his thinning hair could only help him with the stupidest answer for the question.

Unknown said...

Zawi,
Thats the scariest part. We have morons running the country. Its very frightening.
