Apologise already what? Some more not enough ka?

Ah Chuan: Aiya Palah, I thought your Najib is the No 2 man la, I did not know that he is only spokesman.

Palah: What do you mean spokesman. You better not let Najib or his wife hear this, otherwise sure koyak la you.

Ah Chuan: Come on la Palah, everyone also know he spokesman only.

Palah: Where got spokesman. Who say?

Ah Chuan: Then why he go and apologise one lo? Ahmad say those dirty things why must Najib apologise? Somemore apologise on behalf of UMNO?

Palah: Yes, la, we want to show that we all, the UMNO people feel very sorry for what that Ahmad fellow say, so we ask Najib to apologise la. Not enough some more ka?

Ah Chuan: So now Ahmad no more UMNO man ka?

Palah: He is still in UMNO and still division chief. That has not changed.

Ah Chuan: Then why must Najib apologise? Why not Ahmad himself? He still UMNO man so he must apologise la. If he run away from UMNO okay la other people apologise.

Palah: Aiya Ah Chuan, why you want to make so much noise one? You see Chun Wai that Star fellow also so lets look ahead and put this behind us, you only want to look behind, why not enough ka like this?

Ah Chuan: Aiya Palah, if I spit on your face now and then ask Soi Lek to apologise you want ka? After that can you still look at me and smile ah? Same la, Ahmad say, Ahmad must apologise la, not Ahmad say Najib apologise. Where got logical one.

Palah: If Ahmad don't want to apologise, what happens?

Ah Chuan: Then you must take action la. What he say very seditious one, cannot let go like that one, must take very strong action one.

Palah: Anwar give me headache, Mahathir give me headache, Najib also give me headache, my son in law give me headache, all UMNO veteran give me headache, now you also want to give me headache ka Ah Chuan?

Ah Chuan: I am not giving you headache Palah, I am only asking you to do the right thing. If this is not done than we two will get some more bigger headache la Palah.

Palah: Let me think about it la.

Ah Chuan: Okay but don't take too long la, 16th September is about 2 weeks away only.

Najib apologized on behalf of UMNO to the Chinese. Not on behalf of Ahmad.
Najib felt responsible since Ahmad is one of the division chief in UMNO. He apologized even though Ahmad is not doing so.
So, we should 'hentam' Ahmad for his stupid and insensitive remarks and for not apologizing to the whole Malaysia but not towards Najib.

White,
Najib was present when the statement was made. He did not say a word then, only when things look real bad did he apologise on UMNO's behalf. Ahmad the statement maker is a member of UMNO so he is also apologising on behalf of Ahmad.
Why take so long to take action against Ahmad? I wonder.

All the time UMNO gets to scoot away freely with making such remarks.. Last time MCA/Gerakan all quiet.. now that BN ship is going to star in the next Titanic sequel where Pak Lah will play Jack Dawson and Najib will take the role of 'Cal' Hockley, everyone starts making noise..

Maybe this is your answer?
http://margeemar.blogspot.com/2008/09/real-reason-why-pm-badawi-doesnt-want.html

This Scribe was curious as to why the BN/Umno leadership were so afraid to take action against Ahamd Ismail for his deditious remark. After doing a Sherlock Holmes, this Scribe begin to get the big picture. It appears that Ahmad Ismail is a big time Umno warlord in Penang.
Ahmad Ismail was cleared of bankruptcy by the Insolvency Department in 2006. Ahmad Ismail is the figure linked to the controversial PORR project in Penang. He is the director of Peninsular Metroworks Sdn. Bhd., the concessionaire for the project. Ahmad is an influential Umno divisional leader and former Penang Chief Minister Koh Tsu Koon was beholden to him for support. That was why Koh was powerless when Ahmad Ismail a mere Umno division leader could wield so much influence over him and accused him of not paying attention to the Malays in Penang. The CM’s former constituency of Tanjong Bungah happens to be in the Bukit Bendera division.

It gets more interesting here, The Scribe discovered that PM Abdullah Badawi was named as a director of Yayasan Bumiputra Pulau Pinang, who owns 34% of the PMW share via two wholly-owned companies, Kumpulan Pinang and Kumpulan Perhubungan. Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi is linked to the Penang Outer Ring Road (PORR) project’s concessionaire company, Peninsular Metroworks Sdn. Bhd. (PMW) According to corporate information obtained from the Companies Commission of Malaysia, Abdullah (I.C. No.391126-07-5077) was first appointed director of the Yayasan Bumiputra Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. His name is still listed as a director.Yayasan Bumiputra now controls 34.78 percent of PMW through its two subsidiary companies; Kumpulan Pinang Holding Sdn. Bhd. and Kumpulan Perhubungan Sdn. Bhd.

All these request for apologising is political play. Words has been spoken, so let it be. Now we know who this Ahmad is. It also revealed that Pak Lah is too weak to do anything, pretend to be the PM for everyone in the country but when the time for him to show his leadership, he failed miserably. From this episode we know lots of new things about the politicians in the country.

Moral of the story, sometimes is better to keep the mouth shut than opening it up and reveal to the whole world what an asshole you are.

cikgu, si nuaq musa kata to drop this issue and move on...MSM played it down and reported on non-political issue more. tapi bila TS khalid Ibrahim keluarkan controversial statement, sampai berbulan-bulan digembar gembur. sampai mat rempit tepi jalan pon kena interview...

si chuan and bro, koon, keat semua diam je...kahkahh...takut la tu.

Yes Ahmad is doomed if he doesn't want to apologize. If Pakatan does come into power, he will be blamed for it surely, even though Anwar has promised such a thing happening even before this debacle. He will be made the scapegoat...let's see what happens :) (excitedly grinning...yes that's a grin face)

Salam Cikgu,

A close friend of mine had an incident quite similar to this.

Sometime back, his uncle came storming to my friend's house and started to shout profanities about some issues which neither my friend nor his mother know about. When the uncle got carried away with his words, my friend and his uncle got into a fistfight and several things in the house were broken. The fight was only stopped due to the presence of an elder lady.

Later on, the uncle came back to the house and almost prostrate to my friend's father, apologising for the incident. The father accepted his apologies, but my friend never did simply because the punches and words landed on him for no reasons at all. In other words, it was my friend who was hurt by the uncle, and it is the uncle who should apologise to my friend.

Likewise with this case, that Ahmad guy should be sent to China and let him repeat his words there. At least, that way we in Malaysia will live peacefully.

Yes, nobody wants to remain when the ship is sinking.

Jasgill,
Yes true about the bankruptcy part. I have personally seen how during the reformasi period Ahmad spoke fiery gainst the gomen at Anwar's father's house. Then the slap him with bankruptcy and like a kucing kurap he went back to them.

Shah,
I like that 'send to China back' and we could also send that UMNO lady in Perak to India to repeat what she said.
