Talents

What has Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City got in common? Yes, tons of money and a bloody expensive squad each. The way they splashed money, you would think that they own the World bank.

I mean where do their money come from man? Are they in anyway from Malaysia where state money is their money to spend any way they chose to?

Anyway, splashing 60 million pound plus for Kaka is a sin. Not that he is not a good player, though he did not show it in the Brazil vs Paraguay game, but he is just not worth that much surely. Wanting to splash an astronomical 80 million plus pound for Ronaldo is simply madness. Surely no player on Earth is worth that much, twinkle toe or no twinkle toe.

The only explanation for this is that these players are fantastic studs who could be let out to Malaysian sex crazed Datins for a million a shot. The players take 75 percent, the club 25. It can't be 50 50 because you wouldn't know the torture they would have to go through servicing those monsters.

Lets look at Real because they seem to be very much in the news nowadays. At the rate Perez is spending and the amount he is willing to further spend, his team would have to make a few daily trips to Malaysia to recover the cost.

Why would Chelsea, Real and City want to buy jewels at Tiffany's, Cartier, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels (wow did I impress you with these names? Shit man I just look them up in the net and pretended as if I I had known about them all the time. Name dropping works don't you think so?) when they could get them from Habib or Poh Kong ( these I don't have to look in the net ) for a fraction of the price and they glimmer even more?

If you are suggesting that I am asking these big clubs to buy football talents in Malaysia then you are very very right. Yes, we have so much talent here.

Shit man, don't they know that we have about the finest football development programme this side of the universe? They boast of their so called youth development programmes but are unaware of our revolutionary process of identifying talents.

Okay, lets take Europe. They have a programme where 4, 5 year olds were put through talent spotting programmes and the good ones are taken. The problem with this is that some of these 4 or 5 year olds do not progress any further after the age of maybe 10. Some others develope too slowly and maybe only about 1 percent actually make it big.

Lets compare to our secret programme. If they pick their talents in the field, we pick ours at clinics. FAM have teams all over the country to screen pregnant women to identify potential footballers, I mean great footballers, and the unborn children are then adopted. On the day they are born, they already have perfectly  fitting boots, socks and shin guards. Thats how advance our talent spotting programme is.

I mean just have a look at our stadiums during our football season. The name of our league is enough to make me rest my case. If England have Premier league and Italy the Primera Liga, we have Super league. What is Premier compared to Super?

Our hundreds of 100K capacity stadiums are never empty during games. Even the jaga kereta boys at the stadiums are now millionaires courtesy of their jaga kereta takings during SUPER League matches.

I wanted to laugh when Man Utd proudly proclaimed that their keeper Van Der Sar holds the best cleansheet record of a few thousand minutes when our National Keeper has not let in a single goal since the day he first started playing.

Imagine Anelka given the Golden Boots award for scoring a mere 19 goals when we have a few players who could do it in one game.

If you want talents, come to Malaysia, meet our FAM people and you don't have to service no ugly broads because we are not going to charge you an arm and a leg for our players.

It is a good decision to let MU sell Ronaldo for 80 million pound sterling. Football is a team's game. One person don't make a team, but 80 million pound sterling, well that money can buy you many teams.

Frankie,
I just wish we could get Ribeiry. I wonder if they could try push Rafael to right wide midfield position. He has skills and speed and since Tevez won't be around, push Rooney back to centre forward with Berba, Left wide midfield we could try that Tosic fekka or even maybe Fabio. Of course this should be during the tour la.

salam cikgu, its ok to sell if Ronaldo's heart is at Madrid..still got Nani, Park Jisung to cover..
well Chelsea has Abramovic's money, Man City got the Arabs' money, and Real Madrid is a government agency, they get direct money... MU? got Glazer alone.. well, 80 mil is lots of money.. hmmm.. too much money to splurge on by Fergie.. if MU got Ribery, still profitable eventhough they lose Ronaldo to Real Madrid..

fahmi,
Beli Rebeiry. Saya harap depa tak jual Berba. Dulu masa Andy Cole mula main utk Utd pun terok 1st season dia tapi lepaih tu dia jadi top scorer.
Berba berguna kerna assist dia. Depa kena perkuatkan right back tu. Neville dah tua, Brown injury prone dan Rafael terlalu inexperience dan kecil.

fahmi said...

hmm.. betul juga tu.. ribery pun x kalah dgn ronaldo dr segi skill, dan performance pun lebih kurang.. berbatov dh beli mahal2, simpan la, dia punya 1st touch terbaik, bagi la bola cmne pun, lek je dia tahan... well, rafael mmg muda, tp klu selalu main, boleh je ganti brown dgn neville tu... just give him time.. tp mmg rugi beso MU bile x sign tevez.. xpe2, 80 mil baru masuk nnt.. leh beli banyak lagi.. hehehe

Unknown said...

Fahmi,
Kalau tak dapat Ribeiry mesti cuba lagi sekali beli Alexis Sanchez pemain Chile nyang main di Udinese. Saya ada tengok video dia and he is good dan dah tentu tak mahal. Up harga sikit tentu Udinese jual. Game semalam dia score 2 goal utk Chile. Kena pi cepat sebelum orang lain penaik harga.

fahmi said...

hmm... ok juga dia tu.. cume berani atau x je Fergie nk beli dia... apa lagi, silalah beli sblum klab lain beli... nnt melepas, melopong la jawabnye..

Unknown said...

fahmi,

fahmi said...

hahaha silekan, dan sgt digalakkan.. tp mau ke si Fergie berani amek risiko... huhuh..
p/s: hari tu ade Arsene Wenger dtg Msia.. tgok budak2 U19 main.. rujuk sini utk lebih lanjut..

sir fergie tu cukup bijak menilai pemain...slagi dia bimbin united, slagi tu mu ttp mantap...

Unknown said...

kusut,
Ya betul dan itu lah bahayanya. Dia dah tua. Tal laqma lagi dia sendiri akan mahu berhenti jadi MU mesti dapatkan seorang pegurus yang sebaik Fergie and its not going to be easy.

i saw brazil/paraguay match this morning and the 60mil pound man actually missed a sitter. yes, we can all agree kaka is one great player but for 60m, i think world football's transfer market has gone nuts. long gone the days when players are paid for the value he's worth at. i'd blame this disturbing trend partly since a russian roman took over chelsea.

Unknown said...

kerp,
This happens when players are treated bas commodities. Now Ronaldo is almost confirmed for 80 mil. Come on man, yes, he is good but 80 mil? Thats madness la. I think 37 to 40 at the most la.

Wenger came down Dataran Merdeka to find Hadi and Nasha actually. he wanted both to start Unity Teams between MU and Chelsea to wallop Real Madrid...

You know lah, where can he find these virus H1N1 in kuala lumpur when these virus squatting in putrajaya talking some 'puaka' stuff....

before anything start, wenger should check whether these 'players' got balls in the first place!

right or not?

Unknown said...

anon,
What unity team between MU and Chelscum? Its like asking Bush to tango with Osama la.

cheGu, I'm not at all surprised when I heard the news tonight that Ronaldo may be leaving (it's not yet confirmed. It's just that MU gave permission to RM to talk to CR). It may not be fun anymore for me to watch MU if CR is not playing, but what the heck. As long as MU is playing good football and win, I'm happy. If I have to endure 2 years of trophyless season (just like season 2004-06, correct me if I'm wrong), then be it as long MU keep on winning after that.

Penang Mali,
Yes, very true. Without him things may not be as entertaining but I believe Rooney would be free to play in the centre, a position he loves. As for getting big names to come, I would rather they try to get Alexis Sanchez. He is quite good. As of now, he would still be cheap.

Ahaa,
That's what we called talent.
Apart from talking politics all the time, sekali-sekali masuk bab FAM ni yang buat kawan letak your blog in my must open 'daily favourites'
Keep up cikgu.I'm pleased to read your column daily.
Anyway, back to FAM, itu belum kira lagi the best head of the association yang track recordnya, fuhhh takdak sapa boleh challenge dan sanggup challenge. I believe with our talent in store, MU need not looking for Ribery or whoever.
And best of all Shebby will only covering Sidam Kanan vs Machang Bubok games. It is not his cup of tea to cover Malaysia Super League.
It is best to leave it to Andy Gray...
Huhhh......

Pak Pong
kalu head of football organisation, sapa buleh lawan kita punya. Award utk best head who would rather commit suicide than relinquish his position sudah semestinya di menangi oleh Malaysia la.

it has yet to be confirmed cikgu. not until CR is pictured donning Real's colour then only i'll buy the story. i remember some years back when henry was reported to have signed for barca, but went on to play for arsenal for another season before finally made the move to catalonia.

Unknown said...

kerp,
The only thing that would screw up this signing is if CR7 starts demanding like what kaka did to city otherwise I think its as good as a done deal. I don't think Perez want to drop his water face here.
Maybe that kid is bloody sombong and has very regards of himself, that fucker can play and that would be hard to replace. I still see Rafael as a replacement if only they would try him out.

cikgu,

Tengok NS highway. Yang tu bagoih, tapi dia punya corruption menyebabkan orang menderita.
Lani projek kanak2 pintar. Jadi depa balon la 10 kali ganda harga sebenar.
Dengan depa ni, mula2 depa pikiaq banyak mana depa nak nsebat, lepaih tu baru pikiaq projek apa yang buleh bagi depa balon banyak tu.

Cikgu...

Kalaulah RM700 juta lebih tu dibagi kat FAM... pertandingan untuk merebut jawatan di FAM akan bertambah sengit... player macam tu jugaklah... kes tak bayar gaji, EPF tak carum, no insuran, padang macam bendang, padang tak rata... padang tak rata jangan main, pernah Selangor (masa time Super Mokh) kalah dengan NS sebab main kat padang daerah KP yang tak rata(padang Seremban tengah repair for Musabaqah)... yalah, bila bola melantun, dia ikut suka hati dia je nak kemana, tak boleh nak agak...

Cikgu tak mention pun satu namapun player Malaysia... kalau tak kenal, samalah macam saya... tapi my wife 2 - 3 orang player itupun thanks to Rita Rudani...

Dulu saya main 'back'... bukan main 'belakang'... syok bila orang cakap, hang nie main macam Lim Teong Kim... tapi lanie, anak saya marah bila skill dia disamakan dengan player Malaysia... player Mat Salleh - OK

ps... Mr Yeoh tu nama dia Yeoh K Keng... Dia cakap melayu macam ataq kan?... Apo ko bondo 'Ataq' tu... tak paham den?

Cikgu, good post!
You must definitely be a MU fan.
So sorry for your loss.
Btw, if these kind of power trips keep continuing, we might have to pay Astro RM200 next season to watch football!

Unknown said...

D'ayo,
Memang saya tak mention nama pemain Malaysia sebab saya tak tau nama depa.
bukan cakap Melayu macam aqaq, ayaq. Maknanya cakap melayu macam melayu jugak.

Unknown said...

Tiger,
Yes la, did not thing about it la. When players salaries get expensive. teams would demand higher pay off from telecast companies and we end up paying more. Must fuck Perez for this la.

Kerp (Ph.D) said...

yea, fuck florentino perez if that happens. but i think at the most Astro Supersport will stop from buying the rights to telecast la Liga matches. i dont think it affects the EPL, unless ofcos, chelscum or Manshitty splashes like Madrid does.

Unknown said...

Kerp,
Thios is a domino thing. Man Utd has already sounded 65 million pounds for Ribeiry and Chelscum is willing to pay more. All because of the Kaka and Ronaldo thing. City of course with the Sheikhs would be spending god knows how much. After buying for that much, you can't pay them peanuts? Yes, their weekly salaries would go up. So would the second tier and third tier players in the club. What would the 1st tier players in other clubs nlike Liverpool and Arsenal and Villa and Everton say when they are earning less then 2nd tier players in Utd, Chelsum and City when they know they are as good as the 1st tier players in these clubs?
There would be a revolution and Wenger, and Benitez would be sent to the gallows.
I agree with Platini though I hate him for his bias against English Clubs. He is right when he said these expensive signings is going to have adverse effect on other clubs.
I hate to thing that my Man Utd games would be pay per view and knowing Astro I am sure they are going to charge a testical and a cock for a game. Fuck I have to pay it, I am addicted.
