Reporter: Excuse me sir, could you spare me a few minutes. What do you understand by 1Malaysia?

Man: What? 1Malaysia? What is that?

Reporter: A new slogan by the new PM, his vision for the country, just like, Bersih Cekap Amanah and Cemerlang Gemilang and Terbilang?

Man: Oh, well, we are never Bersih, far from Cekap and Amanah is the biggest joke ever. What Cemerlang? Never Gemilang and certainly Terbilang for all the wrong reasons. Why all these? Because they are mere slogans thats all. For something to work, it must come from a sincere heart otherwise...., look, let me say it this way, if the PM believed that the government has all the time been doing a great job, why then this contradictory slogan? I mean by adopting 1Malaysia, he is saying that there is no 1Malaysia right now. What have they been doing for the past 50 years? Tell them to, first, be truly Bersih. Work hard to be really Cekap and treat Amanah as a religious duty, then we could be Cemerlang and shines truly as a Gemilang nation so that in the eyes of the world we could be Terbilang. Then they don't have to shout about 1Malaysia because by then we would truly be 1Malaysia.

1Malaysia is the culmination of all lies, bullshit and trickery of UMNO leaders for the past 50 years. It is also the subtle message from Najib saying that he is going to continue lying, bullshitting and conning the rakyat. 1Malaysia is actually 1MALAYSIA AKAN KENA TIPU, ROMPAK, JARAH DAN TINDAS. Najib is trying his luck at lying to all the people, all the time.

As long as our national football team remains backward, unable to compete with Laos and the players remain nameless, 1Malaysia is just a wishful thinking.

Greetings Cikgu,
I'm a first timer to your blog and I'm already a convert. Like your style of writing and your ability to add the humour slant to the serious issues facing us. We should forget about all these unnecessary slogans from our so-called incompetent "leaders" and focus on the basics...if only these incompetent "leaders" learn how to walk before they run and practice what they preach, then we will all truly be MALAYSIANS sans any slogans.
Keep up the great writing and God bless.

If they don't lie, what else are they going to do? It's so unUMNO not to lie.

Salam cikgu,
I don't know about this 1Malaysia thing.Every new PM want to be famous not because of what they had done for the people and country but for introducing slogan. People have grown wise to this slogan thing. Like they say Malaysia Boleh ! I expect nothing new from our PM. More talk and talk only and the rakyat's problem are solved. Malaysia Boleh indeed !!! Ha,ha. Hope the PM read your post ! Just my 2sen cikgu.

He may be able to shut me out but surely he can't pretend not to hear the voices of The People.

Who else started all these slogan stuff if not the Great Mamak. The best thing about Malaysia is that all these slogans will always remain slogans and nothing else.
