Living breathing and evolving language

A language is alive and vibrant if it is willing to accomodate changes. Words are constantly coined up in a natural way by people based on their experience in life.

The Malaysian political scene provides a fertile ground for the breeding of new terminologies because of its constant turmoil which grips the people's attention and thus the creation of newer and more contemporary terms.

Below are just a few examples of what may be common words in times to come.

1. He was issued a warning letter for dollahing during the meeting.

2. They put all the evidence in a box and altantuyaed it so that no one could get access to the sensitive information.

3. The epileptic was writhing on the floor and shaberying in the mouth.

4. Your honour, this is a classic doublemuhammad. My client is not conversant in the language of that country and thus did not know that he had broken the law.

5. At first there was peace until someone dastardly decided to turn sonofkoyakutty. From then on the world has never experienced justice.

6. I am not a power broker and I object to anyone calling me a triplecorrect.

7. Why are you giving all these evidence? They are simply not Augustine to the case.

8. Ladies beware, there is a pekanman on the loose.

9. The real power in the firm is not the CEO. Yes, I agree, the firm is being bigmamaed by someone sinister.

10. Although the organisation is supposed to be run by a team of people, the reality is that it is umnoed by only one person.

11. This is the 21st century, your thinking is too beeanned and therefore obsolete.

12. His kayjayness is the real cause for his downfall.

13. I never knew you are such and mca, you just do whatever he asks.

14. Although that group is supposed to be independant, in reallity it is spr. It actually does the bidding of the governing body.

As always feel free to add.

Salam Cikgu,

Before I try to add any, I'd like to put one which already exist and is actually an English or Irish slang: "taking the MICkey out of sarkas".

1. You play play with me some more, and I'll rosmahed you.
2. You know not, that Bijan fella has the najib disease, formerly known as queen control.
3. Don't lah give me that samivalue; if you want more profit, just say so! No need bullshitting!
4. The FBI today announced that they are Albaring to a safe location in view of the threats made against him.
5. Haiya you! Don't talk talk anymore lah! Afterwards, they might just bmf you.
6a. In the valley of the blind, the sarkas acts more than just a king.
6b. You ar...don't sarkas sarkas me lah!
6c. Wife: All this while I have been faithful to him. It now breaks my heart to know my husband has been doing the sarkas with me.
6d. You lowlife sarkas...you're even worse than the pariahs!

The Queen has declared that from now onwards, all English news and sentence will no longer employ the words 'umno', 'mic', 'mca' and any other associated with the word 'bn', including the word 'bn', as they have been found to be foul and vulgar. Kindly delete such words in the future. And kindly delete any such organisations associated with the words mentioned.

Salam Aidil Fitri Cikgu,

Much earlier in my blog i posted this;

NEW WORD ... (baa-daa-wee)(noun)

There are possible plans to apply to the Oxford and Webster to include a new word for their 2009 dictionary.

Badawi (baa-daa-wee) (noun): To start something full of promise but end in disappointment, failure and/or disaster. Eg:

* "I'm trusting you to perform this task well; don't do a badawi, ok?

* "Whatever I do, I will always find a way to badawise it".

* "France badawied their Euro 2008 campaign. England pre-badawied thiers, while Italy were guilt of over-badawification."

More suggestions for the Oxford and Webmaster:

A synonym to conspiracy : ROSMARE
Eg. There was a huge rosmare in Al-Tantuya's death. Mongolians were shocked with rosmare action by Rosmah.

p/s : those were actually emailed to me by some creative malaysians.. emmmm!
