Dust to dust...earth to earth.'It's the will of Allah that he should return.
All the earthly rituals are done with....leaving memories..photos and even movies of him.
Move on with your life...so must his family.
At least he saw his son got married..just few days ago. You said look at his eyes. I looked and saw his determinations to fight the pain to complete the event. He could not show it...always in pain...makes him mad...but the little moment he was alert by himself....I think he was contented and at least..stopped fighting and let go.
No more pain...no more sufferings. What more can he ask for...kata tak nak....you tell me.
So rejoice and be happy. He is happy in paradise with Allah.
Again...please take care of the living and your health.

Jasgill,
I tried to get into your blog but couldn't so let me thank you here. I trully appreciate it.

Monty,
Thanks again for the comforting words. Today while my son was driving me home, I decided to take a nap. My eyes were closed but I could still see his peaceful look in his peaceful slumber. It will take time but I will get over it. I know, life must go on. Thanks

It will take some time, KTN. May God be with you through this time of grief.
Your brother may be gone but he will always be with you.

Semoga Allah menempatkannya bersama orang2 yang beriman. Amen.
Hanya doa dari kita yang masih hidup dapat membantunya sekarang terutama dari anak2nya yang soleh. InsyaAllah.

To cheer you up, ini ada satu cerita untuk koleksi cerita orang politik Chegu.

A priest was being honored at his retirement dinner after 25 years in the parish. A leading local politician and member of the congregation was chosen to make the presentation and give a little speech at the dinner. However, he was delayed, so the priest decided to say his own few words while they waited.

"I got my first impression of the parish from the first confession I heard here. I thought I had been assigned to a terrible place. The very first person that entered my confessional told me he had stolen a television set and, when questioned by the police, was able to lie his way out of it. He had stolen money from his parents and embezzled from his employer. I was appalled. But as the days went on, I learned that my people were not all like that and I had, indeed, come to a fine parish full of good and loving people."

Just as the priest finished his talk, the politician arrived full of apologies at being late and immediately began to give his talk.
"I'll never forget the first day our parish priest arrived," said the politician. "In fact, I had the honor of being the first person to go to him for confession."

Salam takziah, bro.

It's just been slightly over two months since I lost my sister, so I know how you feel. Time will heal. But the memories will remain, and you will treasure them.

Al-Fatihah.

Ashy,
Thanks, you're right, time will heal but in certain cases, time the healer passes ever so slowly.
