Pahala anyone?

Should you be at the curve on the 29th of November sometime in the early evening or late afternoon whichever way you chose to see it, and suddenly comes across 4 total strangers looking lost and wondering around aimlessly please do not call the police or the welfare department or even the RSPCA.

No they are not vagabonds and neither are they asylum seekers from the sub-continent. If my crystal ball is right, they are actually looking for friends whom they have never met before but dear friends all the same.

Having never set foot in The Curve, in fact, having only just recently heard of the existence of a place called The Curve, it should not be shocking to see them wondering around with blank wide-open eyes.

Please be gentle with these people for my crystal ball says that they are harmless ordinary folks probably lost in the big city called The Confluent of The Mud or Muddy Confluence or in local Muddy Confluence tongue, KayEll.

Offer them assistance instead of giving them the suspicious look; embrace them with love instead of shooing them away ,or in plain English, lead them to the Asam Pedas where they are supposed to meet their friends. While you are at it why not grab a chair and sit along with them and their friends.

To assist you in getting loads of pahalas here are their mug-shots taken from the CIA 9/11 secret files of people believed to be not involved at all.

Salam Cikgu,

Hmm...4 good looking people lost in Kay El? And of the 4 (if I'm not mistaken), the senior looks mighty familiar. Must be one of those 'Most Wanted' posters put up by the Sarkas goons, namely those in dark blue outfit. Hehe ;)

Don't worry Cikgu, you have our hp numbers. Just text or give us a call once you're there. If you're taking the cab, ask him to drop you right in front of Royal Bintang Hotel. Asam Pedas is exactly behind the hotel.

Be careful Cikgu, 4 good looking people wandering aimlessly in KL may constitute illegal assembly! ;)

Cikgu,

an_archi,
There still is time for you to make it should you decide to. The Wak Segan is still with you. I thought you trade it off for a cello?

Shah,
Huh, I'll be in camouflage. I'll look like a cross between Obama and Maccain.
You sure bet I'll text you.

Pak Zawi,
I did mention that amongst the people I would dearly like to meet is you but then kita hanya boleh merancang. Who knows fate may lead you to Penang or me to Kelantan one day.

Accia,
Yes, a 4X100M relay team. Hope to meet you there.

Unknown said...

Zorro,
Thats kind of you but do hope you could make it with the others.

Unknown said...

Tbd,
Sure of course but I think you should take any one of the phone numbers furnished at Doc's and Shah's because I have been informed that the do would be shifted to just opposite the Asam Pedas, that is the Terrace.

I will not be able to make it. My mum aged 90 yrs passed away peacefully on 20th November. She was cremated on 21st November which coincidentally is my late father's birthday. He had passed away 12 yrs earlier. God willing, another time, Cikgu. Have a pleasant trip to KL. Drive carefully and make sure backseat passengers wear seat belt.

jasgill,
My condolences to you and your family. Yes, maybe another day. Don't worry. Take care now.

I was so hoping that Stephen would be in KL this weekend but unfortunately, his shift did not allow it.

I am so sorry that I missed the meeting with you all. Will there be another one?

I am so sure that it would have been a wonderful evening of fun and laughter.

snif snif :(
