Pete is Free?

I got a message this morning and I guess thousands of you also received messages bearing the good news that Raja Petra Kamaruddin has been released by the Shah Alam High Court. Thousand of us already knew about it even before the mainstream media could reluctantly publish this piece of good news in their online pages.

No wonder, they dislike this alternative that is afforded us. Alright, important things first. I would like to welcome Pete back to freedom. I would like to thank whoever the judge is for having enough guts to declare Pete's detention illegal.

I would like to believe that the new CJ did nothing to interfere in the judge's decision and if that is so, I would like to thank him too.

If at the time of publishing this post, Pete is not rearrested as we have seen in many other cases before this, I would like to thank the police for not interfering with the deliverance of justice by the court.

I am assuming a lot here. I am assuming that the CJ did not interfere, I am assuming that Pete would not be rearrested and I am also assuming that the police would leave things as it is.

Whatever it is, thank you to all those who had fought very hard to highlight Pete's plight. All the candlelight virgils are not exercises in futility.

I am sure many Malaysians who did not have the opportunity to attend those virgils, offered silent prayers of their own.

We need Pete, and we need him a free man. Pete, have a good rest with the family and hope to see you back with guns blazing.

If all the assumptions I had made is right then fellow Malaysians I think we deserve to pat ourselves in the back and say "Congratulations mate, it was a job well done".

Dear cikgu,

have been an ardent psycho pathological obssesive compulsive (but relatively silent) fan of yer blog, writings and numerous plays; to the point of "instigating" maself to write some plays. but of late, among the hubris of mental notes, and points jotted down in buku 3 limas nothing has succesfully, or rather, tenably come to fruition; zilch, not an iota, macam sial. probably i need to ease maself a bit, no forget about sunny laidback retreats or lush tropical greenery to laxate the mind; i'm thinking dvd, tv, come multipositioning cds and press play; i need porn.

seeing that i've embarassed maselfenough upon my enthrusting virginal posting on your blog, (AND a good mate of yours who got me hooked to yur morosely charming blog), i shant' bleed your weary eyes any longer with my erratic, irreverent (mibbe somewhat?) and incessant self delusional nonsense.

happy to hear the news as well, your thoughts were rather consoling. i thought i was one of the few paranoid freaks thinkin' about rearrests, undermining the rule of law and bla bla bla.

take care cikgu, keep on steamin'.

appreciatively,
moz.

p.s. noted you have extremely exquisite taste in terms of favourite non-man-utd players - OSSIE (GOD!), villa and gazza to name amongst the few. no points for guessin' which side of the northlondon fence i'm sitting on.mwhahahhahah. good taste - unlike some fans of another northlondon i have come to know, good bloke though he is :))))) mwahahhaha. later chief.

Chegu,
After the first news about Razak Baginda being released were SMSed to bloggers, a reporter from a MSM asked me for the phone number of the source of the SMS. When I asked her why, she said she just wanted to congratulate the sender for beating the MSM's online newspaper. Now the source has done it again by beating the MSMs about the release of RPK to the embarrassment of MSM's online newspapers. The MSMs get only to report stale news. Kudos to our source.

RPK's release is one of the best news heard in recent times. Of course if you include the 'harga minyak turun 15 sen' as good news, I surrender la!

mozisgod,
Thanks for willingly deflowering yourself here in my blog. Look ma, I got meself a virgin. I am indeed honoured.
My taste in football players is dependent on a few things.

Mu players for obvious reasons.

Entertainers, the reasons for Ossie, Villa, Gazza and someone whom I forgot to write, Hoddle.

Non Liverpool players.

Thanks for commenting and hope for more verbosity from you. Its a little numbing but very entertaining.

Salam Cikgu,

InsyAllah, Pete will not be rearrested. And I think the reason behind this is because someone would Pete to continue exposing certain individuals. This, off course, would be to the other person's advantage...no longer the end game we were expecting, but a gambit in the making.

I am not going to say, "I thought so" I am going to say, "I hope so".
